Where you want to improve the service levels to your clients and offer a unique customer interface experience, then the Client Connect Sample Portal can be used to build your own Client Web presence.
Clients expect to have access to current balances and transaction information, be able to update contact details and receive secure communications from their finance provider.
Portals are designed within finPOWER Connect and, using Web Services, accessed either internally (within finPOWER Connect) or, more importantly, externally via a web browser. They can also be installed to the user's desktop as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).
Customer Portals allow returning clients to login and manage their existing loan or investments, and easily apply for additional products and services
Clients can access the Portal via a Web Browser which enables them to login and manage existing loans or investments, and to apply for additional products and services.
External Party Users can sign in, add Account Application and view their Tasks.
NB: It is strongly recommend that you consider finPOWER Connect Cloud before embarking on creating a Portal that targets finPOWER Connect Users.
Typically, a Loan Application form can be implemented as an HTML Widget.
However, using a Portal to provide this functionality may be advantageous in certain situations.
NB: Portals are not designed to cope with the load that a public-facing Website may undergo, hence they should be limited to the sub-set of functionality that required finPOWER Connect, e.g. a Loan Application process.
